Plus, there are two exterior benches! This traditional sauna experience takes you to a new height with the sauna’s front porch addition, allowing you to cool down after your sauna session.

This 4-person sauna kit for sale is easy to assemble and can be used indoors or outdoors. The barrel shape is both stylish and functional, providing maximum usable space while minimising the unusable volume.

High-Quality Western Cedar Wood

Using Western rustic cedar for its wall panel material, the body maintains a natural resistance against elements. Its naturally pleasant aroma is an attractive feature anyone finds relaxing. This is due to the presence of natural oils in the wood, which also helps to protect it from insects and pests.

Unlike other types of wood that might warp or crack when exposed to excessive moisture, cedar is naturally resistant to rot and decay. Cedar is a softwood, which makes it easy to work with using hand tools.

Shym Saunas’ Cedar Barrel Sauna is a pre-built sauna made from high-quality Western Cedar Wood. It can accommodate up to 4 people and can be placed indoors or outdoors.

Cradles

The barrel sauna is supported by strong and durable cradles. These cradles are made from materials like carbon fiber or timber, which make them weather-resistant and prevent moisture damage. They are also designed to keep the sauna stable, insulated, and well-ventilated.

Ventilation

Our sauna can ventilate from 4-6 full air changes per hour with its carefully designed venting holes.

MATERIALS

The sauna comes as a partially assembled kit, which includes the back and front walls, benches, floor platforms, a door, and support crates

All the timber components are made of high-quality cedar or spruce,
The door has 8 mm tempered glass
The straps and other metal parts are made of 304# stainless steel

Note: No glue, rubber, sealants, or any other fumes-emitting materials are used in the sauna.

Pick Up is available from the warehouse at no additional cost.
We can deliver within Tasmania for an additional charge of $300-$500.
We offer an interstate freight of $500-$1000 (please contact us for details).

ASSEMBLY

DIY Cedar Barrel Sauna with Front Porch

This sauna kit is easy to put together and can be done in just a few hours, assuming the person assembling it is skilled. The clear instructions we provide include everything needed for assembly, and there is also a full assembly video available. If you have questions, phone support is available.

Heater & Lighting Accessories

This sauna does not come with a heater, but there are many different types of heaters that can be used to customize the sauna experience. Whether you prefer a traditional wood-burning heater or an electric one, we can help you find the right fit for your needs. You will need assistance from a certified electrician to properly wire the sauna’s heater and lights.

Shym Saunas Installation Services

We can install your barrel sauna for you if you don’t have time to do it yourself. However, there will be an extra charge for our installation services. Please contact us for more information.
