Beautiful Scandinavian-Inspired Design
The Scandinavian Square/Cube Spruce Sauna has a simple, elegant design that is built to last. Our spruce cube saunas are made with groove and tongue wooden staves that fit together tightly, thanks to their high-quality stainless steel bands and fasteners. This interlocking design allows the panel lumber to expand and contract in a natural manner, which creates a tight seal. Not only are our square saunas aesthetically pleasing, but their design is also energy efficient and helps distribute heat evenly all over the interior.
Finnish-Style, Prefabricated Sturdy Wall Panels
Shym Saunas’ Square Barrel Sauna is pre-built with a tough and sturdy Northern Spruce frame, wall panels, benches, and cradles. This outdoor/indoor sauna comes with solid benches and can be equipped with Finnish-made Harvia heaters.
Horizontal Slat Bench Design
When you first sit down on the bench, you immediately notice how simple and comfortable it is. This added comfort brings a new level of relaxation to the sauna experience. In addition, the versatile design of the bench allows you to use the sauna space in a variety of ways. You can lay back on the bench, do some stretching, or simply sit back and enjoy the heat.
Glass Door
The full-glass sauna doors are made from tempered glass and are actually able to withstand high temperatures and splashes of water better. The cabin door is specifically developed for saunas and therefore is much more effective than a regular door would be. The door glass is reinforced with an extra 8 mm thick layer of safety glass, making it sturdy and long-lasting. Plus, the glass has a clear tone that creates an inviting and calming ambiance. It gives a greater impression of light and space while also being safe and secure.
Heavy-Duty, Weather-Resistant Support Cradles
Even if you place a barrel sauna directly on the ground, it will be safe from moisture damage thanks to the molded cradle supports. These supports keep the bottom of the sauna dry, so you can enjoy it worry-free.

Easy to Assemble
Building a sauna from one of our kits is simple! The pieces are all pre-cut and fit together easily, so there’s no need for sawing or cutting. With just a few basic woodworking skills, anyone can assemble one of our saunas in about 6 hours.

Subject to the skill of the person assembling it, this DIYA sauna kit is easy to put together at home and can be done in just a few hours. All you need is included in the kit, and there are clear instructions to follow. We will also send a link to a full, step-by-step assembly video as well as will be available for any questions via the phone.

Get the most out of your sauna session with a Harvia heater that heats up the rocks and boosts the temperature and humidity of your sauna room for maximum relaxation and health benefits! The sauna room uses dry heat from the hot rocks to heat the room up to 90 – 100°C with very low humidity. The standard kit doesn’t include the Harvia heater, but you can purchase it separately from our online store.
As an upgrade, you can buy bitumen roofing to better protect your new sauna from rain and UV damage. This will also add an extra layer of insulation and aesthetic appeal to your DIY sauna.
