Our Outdoor Cedar Hot Tub With Electric Heater can bring you your very own relaxation paradise in your backyard. With a SpaNET control system running the heater and pump, there is no fire to light and no wood to store. Moreover, this is best for space-saving setups as the overall footprint is relatively smaller than wood-fired hot tubs with external heaters.

Made of Cedar for Superior Heat Retention
Cedar hot tubs are better because they keep the heat in longer than other types of wood. This means you don’t have to keep the heater running as long or as often. This can help save on energy costs and make your hot tub more efficient. Cedar hot tubs provide the perfect combination of comfort and cost-efficiency. SpaNET Heating and Controls Matched to Your Size
Every size comes with a SpaNET control system and a heater sized to the tub. The 1500 mm tub is fitted with the SV Mini 1 control system and a 3.0kW heater, while the 1800 mm and 2100 mm tubs step up to the SV3-VH with a 5.25kW variable heater that matches its output to the power available. You set the temperature you want on the touch pad, and the system runs the heater and pump to hold it there.
CONTROL SYSTEM
Set and Forget Temperature Control
Set the temperature you want, up to 41 degrees, and the control system heats to it and holds it there. It heats only, so it will not chill the water below the temperature the tub naturally sits at. Follow the temperature and soak time guidance in the owner’s manual, particularly for children, pregnant women and anyone with a heart condition.
Automatic Filtration and Freeze Protection
You choose how many hours of filtration run each day and the control system takes care of the timing, along with a short circulation cycle each day. Like any spa, the water still needs regular testing and sanitiser. Freeze protection runs the pump and heater if the water drops below 4 degrees, as long as the tub is filled and powered.
Australian Designed and SAA Compliant
Both control systems are designed by SpaNET Pty Ltd, an Australian owned and operated spa control specialist based in Sydney, and the heater and control system are SAA compliant. The control gear, pump and filter sit in a cabinet built into the steps, out of sight and out of the weather. Your connection must be made by a licensed electrician on a dedicated circuit with residual current protection, and that circuit is not part of this kit, so allow for the electrical work when you budget your install.

High-grade Western Red Cedar
Shym Saunas uses good quality Western Red Cedar to construct this cedar hot tub, making it naturally durable and resistant to rot and decay. Its timeless design will complement any outdoor setting for years to come.
Stainless Steel Metal Parts
The cedar hot tub is held together with stainless steel straps and other metal parts to ensure it remains sturdy and safe. Stainless steel is a popular choice for outdoor spas due to its resistance to corrosion and rust.
Polystyrene Foam Thermal Cover
Our hot tub cover is made of polystyrene, the ideal material: lightweight, yet strong and durable, perfect for insulating to retain heat very well. This makes it great for keeping the water in your hot tub warm and comfortable. Additionally, polystyrene foam is resistant to moisture and won’t degrade over time as other materials may. Finally, the polystyrene foam is covered with UV-resistant marine-grade vinyl and includes safety clips.

We replaced our old fibreglass spa with a wood fire heater cedar hot tub.
The hot tub is way better than the spa. It is easy to heat and maintains the temperature. The seating is very comfortable and the water depth good.
The hot tub is well made and looks great.
Shipping was reasonable cost and arrived on time.
The kit is easy to assemble. I recommend you watch the construction videos on the website before you begin. Although we had a few leaks to start with, they resolved themselves as the timber swelled with moisture.
A very good product that I am sure will last for many years.
