We have now completed a build of both a barrel sauna and a hot tub. Artem and the team were great to work with and kept us well informed on progress of the shipments. Both products proved easy to assemble, although I strongly recommend that you watch Art's videos beforehand, to complement the paper instructions provided with the kit.
We really enjoy our cedar hot tub purchased from Shym. Art has been great to work with. We recently upgraded to a larger heater from Shym which has been a good addition.
I recently purchased a Shym Union 125 Sauna with a Harvia Wall heater and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. From my very first enquiry in August through to delivery and installation in late October, the Shym team was consistently professional, responsive, and genuinely customer focused.

A wood fired hot tub typically takes 2–3 hours to reach around 38–40°C, depending on tub size and ambient temperature. Smaller tubs or pre-warmed water can reduce this time.
Absolutely. Hot tubs are designed for year-round enjoyment across all Australian climates.
Yes. We deliver to all states and territories, including metro and regional locations.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning, monitoring water quality for electric models, and treating the timber exterior with appropriate oil or sealant. Full guidance is provided with every purchase.
