The Harvia SAB00103 door switch sensor lets a Harvia control unit start the heater remotely through the MyHarvia app. It checks that the sauna door is closed before the heater can start, which is the safety step Harvia requires for remote starting.

The Harvia Fenix FX170 control unit already comes with a door sensor in the box.

Installation

The sensor must be connected by a licensed electrician. It is wired to the safety terminals of the heater control unit, and remote start is then switched on in the control panel settings.

This door sensor is made for home saunas. A commercial or public sauna needs the Harvia SFE safety device instead.
