Sauna for Rent User Guide

  1. Position the Sauna on a flat, leveled surface.
  2. Apply brakes and set the drop-down supports at the back of the sauna.
  3. Release the step at the back of the trailer.
  4. Check that everything inside the sauna is suitable to be there. (no plastics, no water bottles, no metal items. etc.)
  5. Fire up the firewood heater. Make sure there is a safe distance to any buildings or structures. Don’t use a sauna under a roofed structure like a carport, or shed.
  6. Use a small amount of firewood and only add firewood as required. It is very easy to heat the sauna, but very hard to cool it down if overheated.
  7. Avoid alcohol: Alcohol increases the risk of dehydration, hypotension, arrhythmia, and possible sudden death.
  8. Stay in no more than 15–20 minutes each session.
  9. Cool down gradually afterward. Switching between the heat of a sauna and cold water in a swimming pool is not advisable, as it can raise blood pressure.
  10. Sauna use may also cause blood pressure to fall, so people with low blood pressure should talk to their doctor to make sure sauna use is safe.
  11. People who have recently had a heart attack should also talk to their doctor first.
  12. Drink two to four glasses of cool water after each sauna session. Dehydration can result from fluid loss while sweating. People with certain conditions, such as kidney disease, may be at a higher risk of dehydration.
  13. Increased temperatures can also lead to dizziness and nausea in some people.
  14. Don’t take a sauna when you are ill, and if you feel unwell during your sauna, head for the door.
  15. Supervise children: Children aged 6 and above are safe to use a sauna but should be supervised when doing so. They should spend no longer than 10-15 minutes in there at one time.
  16. Rest. Relax for at least ten minutes afterward. Let your body recuperate before doing the hot, cold, relaxation circuit again. Many bathhouses and Nordic spas advise limiting the circuit to three times over a couple of hours.
  17. When finished, tidy up the sauna interior, lock the door and raise the step at the back of the trailer. Please secure the step.
  18. Lift the drop-down supports.
