Discover our Patio XS backyard sauna project in Ranelagh, Tasmania, a compact, European-designed retreat made from thermo-treated spruce.
Welcome to another Shym Saunas project, featuring a stunning backyard sauna setup in Ranelagh, Tasmania. This installation highlights our Patio XS, a compact, European-designed outdoor sauna made from thermo-treated spruce — perfect for creating a lasting, natural retreat right at home.
This project proves you don’t need a huge backyard to create your own wellness escape. The Patio XS blends beautifully with Tasmania’s lush surroundings, offering both comfort and craftsmanship. Its sleek, modern shape complements any outdoor setting, while the durable thermo-treated spruce ensures it stands strong against the elements.
Inside, the layout is thoughtfully designed for relaxation and heat efficiency — ideal for recovery, stress relief, and that daily reset ritual. With space for up to seven people, it’s perfect for families, couples, or anyone ready to turn their outdoor area into a year-round sanctuary.
The Patio XS also embodies eco-friendly construction with minimal maintenance requirements — combining timeless materials and a clean Scandinavian aesthetic.
