The Lerra PLUS is a barrel sauna for up to six people with a covered terrace built into the front, a seat either side of the door, and a two level alder bench inside.
It is built in Estonia from 40 mm Thermopine with a tempered black glass door, takes either an electric heater or a wood burning stove, and arrives as a flat packed kit on a single pallet. Two people can have it standing in about a day.

The Lerra PLUS takes the wider 2.2 metre barrel and adds a covered terrace with a seat on each side of the door. It is the spot for cooling off between rounds, kicking off boots, or sitting with a towel around your shoulders while someone else takes their turn.
Inside there is a two level alder bench for up to six people, and the PLUS takes either an electric heater or a wood burning stove. It arrives flat packed on one pallet with a printed manual.
The porch is part of the barrel itself rather than a bolt on deck. The staves and roof carry through over it, so the two seats stay dry and the glass door sits back out of the weather.
It changes how the sauna gets used. There is somewhere to sit before, between and after, which is exactly where sauna evenings actually happen.
The PLUS is the Lerra that takes a wood burning stove as well as an electric heater. Wood brings the crackle, the ritual and complete independence from the meter. Electric brings one switch and no ash pan.
Neither is included, so choose the heater that suits how you will actually run it. Both can be added in the Cost Calculation tab.
The wider barrel makes room for a proper two level bench on each side, an upper bench nearly two metres long and a lower step that doubles as seating for the kids or a footrest for everyone else.
Backrests are included, the timber is alder, and the LED moulding under the bench edge is ready if you add lighting later.
The back wall can be ordered with a half panoramic window or a full panoramic wall with two panes. Point it at the view and the bench becomes the best seat on the property.

Pick the PLUS over the PURE for two reasons. The terrace, which turns the sauna from a hot room into a place to spend the evening. And the wood fire option, which suits a block where running a new circuit is a hassle or where the ritual of the fire is half the point.
It is still a compact building. At 2.6 metres end to end it fits where a cabin sauna never would.

Assembly is straightforward for two people with basic tools, about a day of work. Some photos show a heater, LED lighting or the panoramic window. These are options rather than standard inclusions, and timber tone varies between photos where saunas have been oiled or stained after delivery.
Heat up, sweat it out, then take the terrace seat while the night cools you down. The PLUS is built around that rhythm, and once it is in the garden you will wonder how the evening ever ended any other way.
