Trevallyn, TAS

A family in Trevallyn, Tasmania, recently installed our Outdoor/Indoor Western Red Cedar Barrel Sauna right on their deck — creating a warm, inviting space to unwind and reconnect. Their new sauna blends perfectly with the Tasmanian scenery, offering a touch of luxury and authentic relaxation at home.

Crafted from Western Red Cedar, this sauna is designed to handle both indoor and outdoor environments. The rich, natural tones of cedar not only look stunning but also provide excellent insulation and resistance to moisture.

The barrel shape ensures even heat distribution and efficient energy use, creating the perfect atmosphere for detoxification, stress relief, and muscle recovery. The compact yet spacious design comfortably fits small groups, making it ideal for families who love to relax together.

Positioned on their timber deck, the sauna feels like a seamless part of their outdoor living space. The elevated location offers beautiful views and easy access — whether for a quick morning sweat or a long evening session under the stars.

This installation shows how easily a barrel sauna can enhance everyday living, adding both value and wellness benefits to any home.

For the Trevallyn family, the cedar sauna has become more than a luxury — it’s a lifestyle. Regular sauna use supports better circulation, improved recovery, and deeper sleep, turning simple moments into meaningful family time.
