Spruce Barrel Sauna Installation
We recently completed the installation of a Unity Euro Spruce Barrel Sauna (3–5 Person) at a private property in Seven Mile Beach, TAS 7170. This is another great example of how an outdoor sauna can transform a backyard into a wellness destination.
The client chose the Unity Euro for its compact barrel design and thermally treated spruce construction. It measures 205 cm in diameter and 160 cm in length. That makes it spacious enough for 3 to 5 people, yet compact enough for a residential backyard.
Seven Mile Beach is a beautiful coastal setting. The light-golden tone of the thermo-treated spruce suits the natural landscape well. The full glass front adds to the experience. Glass doors and window panes open the interior to outdoor views, connecting the warmth of the sauna to the Tasmanian environment outside.
Inside, two-level benches give everyone a choice. Sit higher for an intense session or lower for something more gentle. The barrel shape also supports efficient heat circulation. The sauna reaches temperature quickly and holds it consistently throughout each use.
The owners now have a private space to decompress and recover at home. Projects like this show that a sauna becomes more than a backyard feature — it becomes part of daily life.
