Western Red Cedar Sauna Installation in Hobart, TAS

Shym Saunas recently completed the installation of a Western Red Cedar Sauna in Hobart, TAS, showcasing timeless craftsmanship and modern performance. This 4–8 person Square Barrel Sauna offers a premium wellness experience, designed to fit beautifully in both outdoor and indoor settings.

Crafted from high-quality Western Red Cedar, this sauna provides excellent insulation and long-lasting durability. Cedar’s natural oils resist moisture and decay, keeping the structure strong and beautiful for years. Its warm tones and aromatic scent also add a calming touch to every session.

The square barrel design gives this sauna a spacious feel while keeping the authentic Finnish sauna ambiance. Compared to round models, it offers more headroom, extra seating flexibility, and even heat distribution. The result? A comfortable, efficient, and truly relaxing escape.

Each Western Red Cedar Sauna Hobart TAS project arrives as a ready-to-assemble kit. The walls use interlocking cedar staves, secured with stainless steel straps for exceptional thermal efficiency and stability. Installation is simple, and once complete, it’s ready to deliver years of soothing sauna experiences.

Perfect for families, wellness lovers, or anyone looking to unwind, this sauna transforms any garden, deck, or indoor space into a relaxing retreat. Whether you want to recharge after work or host social sauna sessions with friends, it’s built to deliver comfort and style.
