Outdoor Hot Tub Installation in Burnie, Tasmania

Shym Saunas recently completed a beautiful hot tub installation in Burnie, TAS. This project features the Thermowood External Hot Tub, a European-made design that blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Installed on a newly made concrete slab with timber decking, it’s the perfect setup for both relaxation and outdoor entertaining.

The Thermowood External Hot Tub is built from heat-treated Nordic spruce, giving it exceptional strength and resistance to the Tasmanian climate. Its warm wood tones pair perfectly with the surrounding decking, creating a relaxing and natural look that fits right into the Burnie landscape.

This model comfortably fits up to six people, making it ideal for family gatherings or peaceful solo sessions. Meanwhile, the round shape helps the water circulate evenly, ensuring consistent heat and comfort during every soak.

The hot tub comes with a built-in stainless steel heater, designed for quick heat-up times and long-lasting use. In addition, the wood treatment means less maintenance and more time to enjoy.

The Burnie installation shows how well the Thermowood External Hot Tub integrates into outdoor living spaces. With the right slab base and decking, it becomes both a visual highlight and a daily wellness retreat.
