The HIVE Mini is the compact version of HUUM’s HIVE. Same stainless cage, same stone first approach to steam, sized for a room you would actually build at home.
It stands on the floor and holds up to 170 kg of stones. The full size HIVE carries 250 kg and needs a room to match, so the Mini gives you most of that thermal mass on a much smaller footprint.
The stones are stacked the full height of the cage instead of sitting in a tray on top. Heat comes off the whole column, so the room warms evenly and the steam stays soft when you throw water.
That column of stone is also what lets a 9 kW heater cover a room of up to 15 m3.
Inside the cage is a stainless steel frame and a heating element built to run at full stone load, session after session.
The body is shot blasted and acid treated, the same finish used across the HUUM range, which is what keeps it looking like this after a few hundred sessions.
Every HIVE Mini ships with an external WiFi controller. Start the heater from the app on the way home, or use the wall unit if you would rather not reach for a phone.
The electronics took five years to develop and are made in Estonia. Wooden cases are thermo treated ash, so each one carries its own grain.
The Mini suits a home sauna, a garden cabin or a small commercial room. Between the two outputs it covers rooms from 9 to 20 m3.
Clearance to the wall behind is 90 mm on the 9 kW and 110 mm on the 10.5 kW.
Most electric heaters this size hold 20 to 30 kg of stone. The Mini holds up to 170 kg. That is the whole argument, and you feel it the first time you pour water on it.
More stone means more stored heat, so the steam comes off gently and lasts, instead of arriving in a burst and disappearing.

The heater must be connected by a licensed electrician on its own circuit sized to the load. That wiring is not part of this kit, so allow for it when you budget the install.
A heater with this much stone in it changes how a sauna feels. The heat is even, the steam is soft, and you can throw water again and again without the room dropping away underneath you.
