The HIVE Mini is the smaller version of HUUM’s HIVE, sized for the kind of sauna most people build at home. Stainless steel arcs hold the stones the full height of the heater.
It holds up to 150 kg of stones, and HUUM builds it for a mild, long lasting steam. The full size HIVE carries 250 kg and needs a bigger room.
The stones fill the cage from the base to the top, packed around the heating elements so none of them show. HUUM keeps the metal in the heater to a minimum, so most of the heat you feel comes off the stones rather than the steel.
The 9 kW model suits sauna rooms of 8 to 13 m3, and the 10.5 kW model rooms of 10 to 16 m3.
The HIVE Mini has no controls of its own and needs a separate controller. This package includes the HUUM UKU WiFi control set, so you can start the sauna from the HUUM app on the way home or from the control panel.
The set has the control panel, main module, safety and bench sensors, a door sensor kit and cable. The plastic control panel mounts outside the sauna room.
Allow 90 mm on the 9 kW and 110 mm on the 10.5 kW to the walls and the bench, and at least 1,200 mm clear above the heater.
It can also be sunk partly into the floor or the bench, as long as at least 350 mm of the heater stays above the bench surface.
It brings the HIVE idea to a home sized sauna: a column of stone around the elements, with as little metal as possible, so most of the heat comes off the stones.
HUUM builds it for a mild, long lasting steam, and at 460 mm across it fits rooms the full size HIVE would crowd.

The HIVE Mini must be connected by a licensed electrician on its own circuit. HUUM asks for proof of professional installation before it honours a warranty claim, and requires the complete set to be installed, including the full stone load. The wiring is not part of this package.
HUUM builds the HIVE Mini for a mild, long lasting steam. Start it from the app on the way home, and pour water on a full load of hot stone when you get there.
