I recently purchased a Shym Union 125 Sauna with a Harvia Wall heater and I could not be more pleased with the entire experience. From my very first enquiry in August through to delivery and installation in late October, the Shym team was consistently professional, responsive, and genuinely customer focused.
We purchased a summit sauna and love it. We were unsure if we wanted an electric or wood fire heater. We ended up going the wood fire Harvia m3 and so happy with this decision. Plus as an added bonus the pallet it came with was free fire wood for about 15 sauna sessions. The team at Shym sauna were very helpful and easy to work with.
I recently bought and built a Patio S sauna supplied by Shym saunas, together with a Humm Hive woodfired stove. I couldn't be happier with the end result. The whole process with the team at Shym was amazing, all the questions I had were answered promptly, from lighting, building and shipping questions to the mundane.. "what sealant should I use" I enjoyed building it too! Like a really big IKEA kit but way better quality!
Sauna heater sizing is typically based on your sauna's cubic volume. A general guide is 1 kW of heater power per cubic metre of sauna space. Our team can help you calculate the right size.
An electric heater heats sauna stones and the surrounding air for traditional steam (löyly). An infrared heater emits radiant heat that warms the body at lower air temperatures. Both are effective - the choice comes down to preference.
